Dr. Emmanuelle Dionne completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (2009) and a PhD (2018) in Clinical neuropsychology, research and intervention profile. She is a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec since 2018 and holds the attestation for the evaluation of neuropsychological disorders. She is mainly interested in the evaluation of cognitive and behavioral difficulties in children, adolescents and young adults with various challenges.

She specializes in the cognitive assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g. Attention Deficit Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disability, Non-verbal Dysfunction Syndrome, Tourette's Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder). She also has considerable knowledge of cognitive disorders arising from a psychiatric condition (e.g., psychotic disorders, mood disorders). During her clinical training at the doctoral level, she gained a wealth of experience in child psychiatry (2-18 years), including internships at the Autism Spectrum Disorder Diagnostic Evaluation Clinic and the Attention Deficit Disorders Clinic at Hôpital Rivière-des-Prairies (HRDP).

She also gained clinical experience in the cognitive assessment of anxiety and mood disorders with adults during an internship at the Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal (IUSMM). She is trained in the administration and interpretation of the ADOS-2 and ADI-R assessment tools and has been in private practice in neuropsychology since 2016. In her private practice, Dr. Dionne favors a holistic approach with a focus on the biological, psychosocial and affective factors contributing to the cognitive profile. This is done in order to target the interventions and strategies to be favored in order to accompany the patient in his personal development and his academic and/or professional growth.
