Arpy Tcherkezian, Coordinator of the Family and school services (Internship and Recruitment)

Arpy obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at McGill University, with a minor in behavioural science and sociology. She is currently a doctorate student in neuropsychology (R/I) at the Université de Québec à Montreal (UQAM), in the Cognition and Communication Lab of Steven Harnad. Throughout her academic career, her studies were dedicated on understanding neurocognitive development in both research and practice. Her current study focuses on developing an intelligent game to aid children diagnosed with ADHD.  

As coordinator of recruitment, her goal is to identify individuals who uphold the values of Agoo and guide new employees in their journey. Arpy’s background makes her advocate for inclusivity, and the understanding and integration of culture in the clinical setting. She is passionate about utilizing a holistic approach to understand children and move towards learning based on the strengths of the young minds.

As coordinator of internship, she is in charge of assisting students' educational and occupational development by delivering comprehensive student internship and career development placement services.  Arpy serves as a liaison between the educational institution, the student, and the employer throughout the internship process.
